Behind the name. . .

In the fall of 2002 a couple of businessmen from Plano, TX were looking for a "diversion" from the 8 to 5 monotony of the business world. . . a chance to give back to the community with their musical talents. . . a chance to break away from the norm of the classic rock band and offer their listeners a new genre of the latest and greatest chart-busting songs known as, "today's rock". They found three other businessmen and a music student from UNT with the same desire. And they called themselves. . . Diversion.
